I joined today… just a heads up, my free 3 month trial membership that I got ordering diapers was finishing today, and I didn’t get the prime membership when I joined :( I’m really bummed about it, I contacted them and hopefully they will give it to me anyway, but it doesn’t look like it works if you’ve already had a free trial…

  • Tresa Beardslee

so awesome! I’ve been looking for a way to get free Prime Membership again! Had it last year for the Holidays & it really came in handy.

    Thanks!

i joined but didn’t get the prime membership… did we have to do something else?

    • http://www.swaggrabber.com SwagGrabber Sheri

You might want to call them and see why it wasn’t applied to your account. I would double check first and make sure it wasn’t given to you by going to “your account” and then click on “Manage Prime Membership”

When I look under manage prime membership, I can’t find where I can switch to-
    Do Not Upgrade??

    • http://www.swaggrabber.com SwagGrabber Sheri

Sorry about that – it is supposed to say “Do Not Renew” button. Look for it on the Manage Prime Membership page.

      • Tiffany J

i am having the same problem it is different then it usual be it dont have dont renew button anywhere

        • Heidi

I don’t have the button to “not renew’ either….

          • http://www.swaggrabber.com SwagGrabber Sheri

I have added an image of the button to the post, refresh and you should see the image. Make sure you are going to “Your Account” (located top right of any Amazon page) and then click on “Manage My Prime Membership” (in the second column under ORDERS). Then look for the button.

Yea its definately NOT there. I hope I remember to cancel before it ends LOL

          • http://www.swaggrabber.com SwagGrabber Sheri

They do send you an email before the trial period is up letting you know and giving you a way to cancel it. Also you could try calling Amazon and asking them to set it to “Do Not Renew”!

          • http://wyattabbymom.blogspot.com Joy

just joined thanks! but I also couldn’t find the do not renew option it does show my membership will end Dec 8 so it is there I guess I will just cancel before it renews

I can’t find that button either….did they take it off?

I contacted amazon and they replied that there is a technical issue as apparently Amazon mom isn’t recognized on my account… she said to wait 24 hours and contact them again if I don’t have it by then… I suggest you contact them also, there must be a bug in their system.

  • brenda

Just checked my account and I finally have my membership activated.
    Yippee, it worked.
    Thanks so much.

  • Fran

I got it activated too! Just a heads up – I ordered $25 of baby items but it didn’t extend it, so you might have to contact customer service a few more times too!

  • katie

My husband had an amazon prime account a couple of months ago after we got a diaper deal from subscribe and save. They are so amazing!! It is great when you get $5 gift certificates here and there on various rewards sites that you can find links to on swaggrabber!!!! Thank you so much once again!!!!

Does anyone know if ordering diapers with subscribe and save counts as those $25 to extend the trial?

    • http://www.swaggrabber.com SwagGrabber Sheri

It should, Subscribe & Save is part of the program, that is how you save 30% off diapers and wipes. Although you may need to call and make them add the month if it doesn’t show up!

      • Fran

Ok I ordered some, waiting for CS to contact me back now, as the membership hasn’t been extended after I ordered. I’ll let you know. So much work just to get prime to cover Holidays, I should just have waited 3 weeks to sign up. lol

        • Fran

Alright, customer service said that subscribe and save orders qualify and that one month should be added when it ships. Makes the deal even better!

  • Kat R

I called them and they set my acct up to NOT automatically renew…I had them send me an e-mail while I was on the phone convifming that they would not automatically renew. I’m glad this came up because I found out that my Amazpn Prime from last November was still active after the tiral period and I paid the $79.(I know I should have known I had a $79 charge…but anyway) I found no e-mail confirmation of the paid-for subscription, though I had confirmation e-mails for the trials…I guess if you get the membership and don’t use it, they will refund you. I asked if you could get the Prime membership for only a couple months, if they would prorate the membership price and they said yes, it would be prorated by the month–so only like $7 per month–that’s like the shipping cost on one item! I’m just thinking if we get the Prime Mom now and it ends in November we might want to buy gifts in December. I had her e-mail me a confirmation about that as well…

    • Tiffany J

what number did you call to talk to customer service

  • Cara

Someone at customer service live chat just told me that Amazon Mom Prime shipping is only good for the items on the Amazon Mom section. Anyone else heard about this? I guess I can try to buy something not on the Mom section and see if I can still get the Prime shipping.

    • Cara

Just ordered two items NOT from the Amazon Mom page with Prime Shipping…they went through just fine!
