If you are like me, you have been glued to the TV watching the devastation from Sandy. It is absolutely heartbreaking. I have friends and readers up there that I have been keeping in touch with and luckily they are all ok. They are however saying while they are OK, there are a LOT of people that do need help.
If you have a stockpile considering sending some of it. If you can, consider donating money to the American Red Cross (Donate Money).
I am personally going to donate $1 for every comment that this post receives to the Red Cross. Simply post a reply in the comment section. Comments from now until 11/4 will count and I will make the donation on Monday. The more you comment, the more I donate!
Here is a partial list of places to make donations. If you know of others, please leave the info in the comments below and we will add them to the list.

Do you have Bumbo Infant Seat? They have just issued a Recall on the Bumbo Infant Seats and are offering Free Repair Kits, which includes a restraint belt. The seats are recalled because people were putting them on elevated surfaces and babies were falling out and some fractured their skulls. The instructions on the box clearly state to not put the seat on elevated surfaces, but the restraint belt is still a good addition to the seat.
NOTE: Their site is slammed when you get to the ordering page, you may need to try again later.

The passwords to 432,000 email accounts were leaked earlier today. They were leaked from an older Yahoo file associated with the Yahoo! Contributor Network. Yahoo claims that only about 5 percent of the accounts had valid (current) passwords, but here’s how to check if your ancient account is one of them.
Security company Sucuri has put together a tool to check if your email is included in the 400,000+. Make sure to check yours now! If yours was leaked, immediately change your password.

Want a quick and tasty recipe for dinner? I found this recipe on the back of a French’s yellow mustard bottle and made it last night. It was very good and easy to make. It was also fairly inexpensive to make; several of the ingredients are on sale this week at Publix.
Tangy Ranch Chicken
Ingredients:
2/3 cup Ranch salad dressing (BOGO Kraft Dressing at Publix)
1/3 cup FRENCH’S Classic Yellow (BOGO at Publix)
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Mix Ranch, mustard and sugar. Pour 2/3 cup mixture over chicken.
Marinate chicken in refrigerator 30 min. or up to 3 hours.
Bake chicken at 350 for 25 min. or until done.
Serve chicken with remaining mustard mixture.
* I cut the chicken breasts in half and stuffed with Stovetop stuffing mix, which I thought was great addition to the recipe.
