As you may or may not know my website has "chat" feature. It is located on the very far left side of your viewing window. Sometimes webbychat can be a little difficult to find so I thought I would give some information about it and a few tips to show you exactly how to find it.

First off this is a really new product, it is not even released yet. It is still in testing mode so there are going to be issues, but so far the "issues" are minimal compared to the benefits. This is a great feature for those of you that are new and have a question, or anyone that finds a deal to share....or simply just to chat.

With that said please keep in mind it is a new product and they are still working out all of the "bugs" which may account for some of the difficulty you are having using it. Please bare with me and the little program, hopefully they will be able to fix all of those soon. If you do encounter any issues please let me know.

So where is that little CHAT button?
The CHAT button is located on the very far left and "floats" up and down the window as you scroll. If you can't see it, try maximizing or minimizing your window because it appears to "hide" sometimes off the left side of the window. Please see below....

If you can't see it, try reloading the page or using a different browser, i.e. if you are using Firefox try Internet Explorer. Also if plan to stay and chat a while you might want to open another window to view the website and chat at the same time because sometimes changing pages will cause you to get "booted" from the room. This is not an outside program it is actually part of the site now so there is no external IP address that you can access to get to it so keep an eye out for the CHAT button!

If you register when you enter you can choose your user name that will show up in the chat room. Of course you don't have to and you will simply show up as the state you are located in. If you want to register click on "Get a User Name" at the top. You can minimize the chat room by clicking on the < at the top right of the chat window. Another cool feature is that if you watch the SwagGrabber item in your task bar (the open windows next to start) you can see if there are new messages, it will show a (##) next to the SwagGrabber name!

During Old Navy night it can become quite hectic, 200 people chatting can sometimes make it hard to keep up. One great thing you can do is to drag the right side blue bar to the right to expand the chat room. You can make it as big as you want! Also the people in purple are moderators, they help me keep peace in the room and also are there to help answer any questions you may have. I am in green because I am the administrator of the room, look for me and I hope you will say hi!

Hopefully a few of these tips will help you access the chat room and start enjoying and using it. There are some great people that hang out in there, all day everyday, and even if I am not in there someone will probably be able to answer any questions you may have. If there isn't someone in there and you have a question, go ahead and post it and check back later, chances are you will get an answer, I try to check it every hour or so just for that reason. Also we will definitely be in there next Thursday for the Old Navy hunt!
