I get LOTS of questions about the forums...what are they? how do I use them? etc. Here you go, the five minute tutorial on what they are and how to use them....

The forums are a place for everyone to post deals and questions. To post all you need to do is register and get a username. All registrations must be approved by me but I usually approve them immediately (if its during the day). The best part about these is everyone can use them so deals, coupons, and other great stuff usually shows up there before it makes it to the site, if it makes it to the site. Unfortunately it is only me running this crazy place and I can't always post EVERYTHING that is found, but everything is put in the forums.

Above is a screen shot of what they look like. Here is a brief description of how to use them and what each thing does.

1. The title is also a hyperlink you can click this from anywhere and get back to the main page of the forums.

2. This takes you back to the SwagGrabber main page.

3. User Control Panel is where you can update your information, including changing password, getting an avatar and just about everything else.

4. Use these three links the most. "View Unanswered Posts" displays all posts that have not been replied to (mainly new stuff). "View New Posts" displays all posts that were posted today. "View Active Topics" displays all hot topics or the ones with the most views and replies. These are the best place to find the new topics without going through each catgory.

5. This is the Category - there are tons of categories and most of them are pretty self explanatory. Once you click this you will see all posts under that category. Some categories have sub categories. Click on those to see the items under it.

6. This shows the Topics (or posts same thing) in the category, how many replies, and when it was last updated.

The above screen shot shows what it looks like when you click on a category. This is the freebie category. Each category looks about the same.

2. Click this to post a New Topic.

3. These are all the new Topics.

This is what each post will look like.

1. This is the title of the post.

2. Click this to post a reply. It is really nice to thank the person that did the post!

3. This is the description of the post.

4. This is the link to the specific deal.

Hopefully this will help some people out to not be so afraid of the forums. These are super fun and full of information. Not too mention you can still chat while in the forums!
